I can't believe that we are leaving on Thursday for our cruise! Time has gone by way too fast, in a good way. I am very excited to go, but I'm still a little nervous about leaving my kids for so long! I know I'm going to miss them so much! I think the hardest part for me is knowing I can't call them everyday to talk to them. I'll just have to put my trust in Crystal, my sister, and know that they are in good hands. I know they will be OK and that Ricky and I will have so much fun! Wow, this really is happening!
We had a busy time this week with celebrating the boys birthdays and all. My lovely sister got us free tickets to the Pacer's game in Indy for Wednesday. It was so much fun and the kids loved it! Ethan got a little tired at the end, but they had fun cheering and yelling at all the excitement. The tickets were in the 11th row, so we were really close up! Awesome time! The pictures are on Ricky's phone, so I'll have to upload them sometime soon. (maybe after the cruise!)
We have been enjoying the beautiful weather by spending tons of time outside. They kids love to play in the yard and go for walks and bike rides. The trampoline net got ripped last weekend, so I have to spend a few hours stitching it up sometime, too. Someday I'll get everything done and caught up!
Friday was Ricky's day off of work, so it was my day to play! I went to get a pedicure for the cruise and then shopping with Ricky's mom! It was so much fun and I got some way cute clothes for the cruise. It was so nice to be able to try things on and shop for myself! I love shopping! After the cruise, I'll have to clean out my closet to make room for my new clothes!
The kids and I headed over to Target for pictures on Saturday. After the pictures, we met some friends at Chick-fil-A for lunch. I think I had as much fun as they did! I love great friends! Too bad they are moving soon. After they played for a while, we headed over to Toys-R-Us for the boys to pick out their birthday presents. They got a card from there for $3 off anything, and Dylan had some birthday money to spend. Of course, he picked out 2 Lego sets and Ethan picked out a train for his new tracks. Both boys loved it and Lauren was feeling left out, so she picked out a little girl Lego set for herself. (She used some of her leftover birthday money from last year.) What a fun-filled day!

Dylan's Birthday!
On Monday, I woke up early to make some pancakes for Dylan before
school. He wanted red pancakes and a D and dinosaur. He got to open up a
present before school which he was really excited about. He got a Star
Wars shirt to wear to school!
After school, Dylan invited a couple of his friends from school over for a little party. They played pin the Light Saber on Darth Vader and then I made cut outs to make an R2D2, but only 2 of the girls wanted to do that. The boys were happy just playing Nerf guns and chasing each other around. Boys will be boys!
Since we took cupcakes to school for the snack, we decided to have
cookies with his friends. They didn't mind having a cookie instead!
We had to put a candle in the cookie!
He got some cool monster trucks and Transformers. He had a great time playing with his friends.
For dinner, we let him choose where he wanted to go. Pizza Hut was his choice! It was good and we enjoyed spending the evening with our family. After dinner, we headed over to Chuck 'E Cheese for a few games before presents and bedtime. He got a Lego beach set, some pirate crocks, Green Lantern, and some Backugans.
It was a fun-filled day with LOTS of celebrating! Happy 6th Birthday little man!
Happy 6th Birthday Dylan and 2nd Ethan!
Wow, what a weekend of partying! Saturday we had a party with family and
date night friends for both of the boys' birthdays. It was so much fun
and a little crazy, too! We had 41 people not including our family!
Everyone who was invited came! Yeah! I love having parties! We are so
blessed to have such wonderful friends and family to come celebrate the
boys' birthdays with us!
Dylan wanted a Star Wars cake, so we ordered one for him.
Ethan is really into trains, so I made a cute little train cake for him! He loved it!
Especially the candy toppings!
We went from youngest to oldest with the pinata, and I think it was a big hit.
Dylan got to break it after everyone hit it. He had fun using his new bat from Uncle Jarod.
The kids loved the candy and prizes.
Ethan just wanted a box of Nerds! He climbed over the other kids to get it and then left with just one box! If he only knew he could have more!
Lauren and her best friend Arianna had fun sharing their Nerds.
Ethan was a happy little boy! He got some new trains, bubbles, books, a dump truck and firetruck. He was so excited every time he opened anything with trains on it!
Dylan was very good about being polite. He loved all of his gifts, too! He got a motorcycle, book, cars, Nerf guns, Iron Man mask, Colts pillow pet, money and a baseball bat.
Ethan had a great time playing with the balloons. His hair was getting static-y and was sticking up so far! He had a great day with all of our friends and family! Thanks for a great day!

March madness
This month is just flying by! We have been so busy with school, playgroups, and friends. Last week, we ventured over to IHOP for free pancakes on National Pancake Day. The kids loved it and we couldn't beat the price! On Friday, I met my friend Mandy at the mall for a play date/ shopping. I actually found some things and the kids did great! I think it helped that we brought snacks for the kids and let them run around the play-place for over an hour. Plus, I got to catch up with my friend! It was a great day! Saturday, the kids and I headed over to Illinois to visit with my grandparents. They are doing well and it was great to spend some time with them. My cousin also came over so I could meet her newest little guy, Silas. He is precious. Lauren loved holding him and Ethan would get in his face and say, "hi, baby." So cute! Then Saturday night, Alex (my nephew) came over to spend the night. Dylan had a blast, as always, and we got to spend the evening with his family at Ricky's parent's house. I enjoy spending time with family while we are all living close!
Dylan got to go on his first field trip today. They went to the Children's Museum in Indy for the whole day and he couldn't have been more excited. I am waiting for him to get off the bus, since I don't know exactly what time it comes around in the afternoon. They have been talking about dinosaurs all week, and he has loved it!
For President's day last month, Dylan made this cool Abraham Lincoln hat. I had to get a picture of him sporting it! So fun!
I can't believe that in 2 weeks, I'll be leaving for my cruise! It seemed like the time would not come fast enough, but time really has flown by and I'm pretty sure that these next two weeks will be going by fast, too. We have 2 birthdays and lots of celebrating to do!
