Sugar Creek

This weekend, Dylan and I met my mom at Crawfordsville for the Strawberry Festival! After the festival, we went to Sugar Creek to walk around for a little while! We got some really cute pictures (especially since Dylan almost fell asleep on the way to the creek!)
Here's grandma in the water with me! She is so much fun!
Look at my cute belly! AndI already have a farmer's tan!
I had so much fun throwing rocks! I even wanted to pick up the rocks that were as big as me!
After we were done in the water, Dylan was talking to me!
He is such a little cutie!

Moved in!

So,we are finally all moved in! (Not all unpacked, but moved!) Thanks to all those who helped! We really appriciate all of our wonderful family and friends who showed their support! I love being so close to everything! Dylan and I walked to Ricky's work the other day! It only takes about 20 minutes to walk, and Dylan loves to see everything! I plan on doing a lot more walking around now that we are close to town! I also love the space of our new apartment! We can finally walk around our bed! (Before, the corner was hitting the wall!) And there is so much room for Dylan to run around! We also love our little balcony! We just open the door and Dylan loves to go outside to play! (hint hint Grandmas... Dylan needs a chair and some toys to keep on the balcony!) Now I have something to look for at garage sales! Dylan has turned into such a little helper! If he finds an open box, he will pull everything out of it! We have been keeping busy with him, too! Here he is helping us put his crib together! He was having such a good time!
We went to Grandma and Grandpa Cody's house to see an old friend who was visiting for the weekend! After the BBQ, Dylan and Brayden played in the puddles and on the trampoline! Dylan had great smiles as he was having so much fun!
Well, that's about all the exciting news from our way! I will go back to writing more often now that I don't have any excuses! :)

Sidewalks

Dylan and I had to be creative to have fun on Friday with no car and Daddy at work all day! Dylan really enjoys going outside, but we only have sidewalks and pavement at our apartment. He loves to walk, so when we can't go to the park, I take him outside to walk around our building! Here are some pictures of him playing in the mulch and walking around! I can't wait to move and have a grassy area to play in! Speaking of moving, we are moving this Friday! I can't believe the time has come! I am really looking forward to the move and the spacious living room!

He wouldn't look at me with the camera out! He was being a little stinker! I had to take a lot more shots with him not looking to get a good one! I think I got a few good ones! Let me know what you think!

Mother's day is great!

I had a wonderful Mother's day with my wonderful son and my mother! He was such a good boy as my mother and I were traveling to see extended family. It was especially great this year as I got to spend the day with my mother! I think you learn more from you mother as you become a mother! My mother has the best advice and love anyone could ever give! I am so grateful to have such a wonderful mother!
As you can see from this picture, he loves to play ball! He really enjoys throwing them down stairs and watching them fall! We had a good time visiting with my Grandma and Grandpa Drennan, Grandma Cody, Aunt Marcia, Christopher, Aunt Marsha and Uncle Bob, Sarah, Madeline, and Cameron this past weekend! Such a happy Big Boy!

Dylan had a wonderful time planting flower seeds with Grandma Cody on Mother's Day! He is such a big helper and doesn't mind getting dirty! I guess that's what grandma's are for! Dylan is starting to talk more. He can say grandma, but is sounds more like mom-mom! I think I like it more than "Mano" which is what my nephew calls my mom!

Dylan learned how to ride a bike with daddy yesterday! He had so much fun! He wouldn't get off of the bike! We'll have to see about getting him a small bike for this summer!

My two favorite people!
