Happy Birthday Daddy!

Happy Birthday Ricky! We're so glad you are feeling better! (He got food poisoning on Monday and didn't feel the greatest yesterday, too!) We are going to go to the movies later and then to the mall to get new work shoes!

Last night Ricky was playing with Dylan, so I had to get out the camera! They were so cute playing together!

Dylan couldn't stop laughing! Ricky was throwing him onto the couch and then Dylan would try to get down! They were having the time of their lives!

Dylan was posing for the camera! When he smiles like this, it makes him look like he has a double chin! We love everything about him!!

Park time!

We all went to the park today to enjoy the nice weather! It got up to about 70 degrees, but the sun made it feel lots warmer! We decided to have a picnic and then play at the park, since Ricky didn't have to work until 2:30! Dylan had a lot of fun! He is starting to enjoy the park a lot more!

This was right after we put him in the swing! He used to cry for the first minute and then he would be ok! He has come a long way! (Maybe we'll have to try Chuck E Cheese's again!) It was fun spending time with the family and enjoying the weather!

One of Dylan's sayings is "woof woof" for a doggie! He was so excited to see the dog, so we had to go pet him! He was too scared to go by himself, so mom had to hold onto him! I'm sure he'll get over that soon enough, but I love being there for him now!

Cold Easter!

Even though it was freezing outside, we decided to brave the cold and hunt for Easter eggs! We only stayed outside long enough to get a few pictures and eggs!

We then warmed up by eating a waffle! Dylan has turned into a big breakfast eater! He usually eats more than I do!

After church, we took some family pictures! Here is great grandpa and grandma with most of the great grandchildren! Some of them didn't want to get their pictures taken!

This is the only picture we got of Dylan in his outfit! We'll have to take more pictures of him next time he wears the outfit!

Playing

So, it's been over a week and I haven't posted anything! Sorry! We had such a busy month, with Dylan's birthday and everything! By the way, what is up with Indiana weather?? It was so nice outside last week that we went for walks and to the park everyday, and then this week is freezing again!! We are looking forward to nice weather so we can play outside again!

Dylan has been keeping busy with all of his new toys! He loves to play basketball! (Thanks Grandma & Grandpa Cody)

Ricky and I are looking forward to our move in May! It's coming up fast! We got a short term lease in West Lafayette to hold us over until he graduates in December! I am really looking forward to getting a house when he graduates! The new apartment has more open areas for Dylan to play in, so we are really excited!

Dylan got rash all over his body this week, so we got it checked out and he is allergic to amoxicillin! He was taking the amoxicillin for strep on his bum (yeah, I had never heard of it either!) and he got this really bad rash. He has been really clingy to me, which is hard to get used to, but I am really enjoying it! Dylan also started to show his attitude! When he gets mad, he throws his head back and arches his back! We will have to work on his little temper!
