Fun-filled week

This week went by so fast! I can't believe that Ricky has to go back to work tomorrow! He was fortunate enough to take 3 weeks off, and we loved it! It was so nice having him here to help out with the kids. I'm a little nervous for tomorrow, being my first day (8 hours) with all 3 kids alone! I'm sure it will be ok and we'll all make it, but it's going to be different. I'm still working with Ethan on breastfeeding. The first month is the hardest, so hopefully it will work out for us. Ethan is definitely getting enough milk, because he has gained a lot of weight! We went to the doctor on April 8th for Dylan's 4 year check up and Ethan's 3 week check up.
Here are Dylan's stats:

Height: 42 3/4 in.
Weight: 39 lbs.

Here are Ethan's stats:

Height: 21 1/2 in.
Weight: 8 lbs. 9 oz.
Head Circumference: 37 cm.

Since I have been feeling better this week (not so sore), we decided to go to the Children's Museum in Indy on Friday. Dylan and Lauren had a blast and Ethan slept the entire time! I woke him up to feed him because I was getting sore, but otherwise he was asleep from the car ride there to the car ride home. We got a Sit-N-Stand Stroller and absolutely love it! Lauren climbed up into her seat and didn't bother Ethan. It was the best thing ever! Dylan was a little jealous of it and wanted to sit in it too. Sorry big brother! We only made it to 4 exhibits in the museum, but the kids didn't seem to care. They enjoyed the Bob the Builder exhibit and the Playscape the best. We even rode the Carousel this time! Well, Ricky stayed with Ethan and I rode it with the older kids. Lauren started to fuss for a minute when I put her on the giraffe, but then she enjoyed the ride. Dylan insisted that they ride on the giraffes, even though they didn't move. He still had fun!
It turned out to be a wonderful day! We then went to my parent's house for dinner and to drop the kids off. I surprised Ricky with a date to go see a movie. We went to Clash of the Titans. It was pretty good if you like the mythology thing. I was sort of lost, but Ricky explained it to me. It was nice to get away from all the kids for a little while. Ethan did great for the first time being away from mom and dad! Thanks mom and dad for watching the kids!

Then last night, our babysitting group did date night. Ricky and I took Ethan out to dinner. He slept the whole time, so it was nice for us. I wasn't planning on going anywhere yesterday, but Ethan was fussy all day, so getting out of the house was more for sanity reasons than anything! I guess all babies have those days! Speaking of sleeping, Ethan is doing a good job at sleeping. He will usually sleep a four hour stretch at night ( I won't let him sleep that long during the day) and then 3 hours. He has been a little gassy which will cause him to be up early in the morning, but Ricky lets me sleep in with him. Ethan can sense our presence around him. If he is asleep downstairs and I go upstairs for a minute, he will start crying. Silly boy! He's going to have to learn to get over that one fast! Ethan is a good baby and we love him dearly!
