It has been forever since I have posted anything, sorry! I really want to get on here and record everything that is going on in my life, but as you can tell, my life is busy! What's new? Two weekends ago, we went to visit some friends in Chicago. It was so nice to have a relaxing weekend away with wonderful friends. Thanks for hosting us! I swore that I would take some pictures, but only got 2 of my own kids. I guess we were having too much fun! Lauren got her toe nails painted for the first time! It is too cute! She shows everyone her pretty toes! Ricky just updated our computer and we are having difficulties with the memory card from our camera, so I'll have to post the pictures later.
Monday, I felt horrible. I thought it was just allergies, which I have been having for the past 2 weeks. I decided to go to the doctor to see if they could do anything else for me, and I found out that I had a sinus infection on top of my allergies! I felt like I got hit by a truck! It was horrible! Luckily Ricky was working from home that day, because I literally could not get off of the couch! The antibiotics seem to be working, but the allergies are still there. I hate allergies!
Today we got to visit Dylan's new school! Yeah! He starts next week at Federated Preschool. I am so excited for him to learn more and he can't wait to go! He asked me on the way there if he could take his sleeping bag and sleep over! Silly boy doesn't even have a sleeping bag! He is that ready to go! I think he will have a blast and has already picked up so much new information in just the past few weeks! He amazes me all the time!
Lauren decided that she needs to start taking her diaper off when she wakes up from bed. (Not just the diaper, but her pants, too!) I don't know where this came from, but I am annoyed with it already! I think I might have to get some duck tape to keep her diapers on when she goes to bed. Maybe she is telling me that she's ready to be potty trained. Any good advice?
Ethan has turned into a fussy boy! I know it's just because his teeth are coming in, but it is hard on all of us! He has his bottom two teeth about half way in. They are really hurting him, because he is just uncomfortable all the time! Poor little boy! He is still my little chubby baby and I love it!

Maybe you could put Lauren on the potty whenever she takes off her diaper... it's probably a good thing that she realizes that her diaper is dirty! Good luck!
For the diaper removal thing- we put Lily in the one-piece footie pajamas that zip down the front, then safety-pinned the zipper at the top so she couldn't pull it down.
Hmm, Sylvia does that too, though not every morning. We've been doing cloth diapers all along so it's not a big deal for us to do this, but I bought a couple of diapers with snaps, which Sylvia can't get open. The Happy Heineys and Flip system are the two we're using and I've been happy with both. The nice thing about the Happy Heineys is they feel dry even when wet, so they're good overnight. Cotton babies (http://www.cottonbabies.com/) has the Flip diaper cover for about $10 in the clearance, and they don't charge for shipping.
Good luck--I hope she's just getting ready to potty train and she'll be out of this soon!
Thanks for the advice! I think she is almost ready to potty train. She will tell me that she has to go potty and has even made it to the potty once! Yeah! I guess I should just stick with it and get her trained!
