We had an appointment with a specialist in Indy 2 weeks ago. The doctor said that she has Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome. Basically, she has very flexible joints and loose skin. The doctor said that she should be totally fine and that we are doing the right things with her. It was a big relief to find out what is going on with her. In other news, Lauren has decided that she wants to use the potty! Yeah! It has been a lot easier than it was to train Dylan. She even pooped in the potty! I just need to stick with it and keep her going. I think that's the hardest part. She decided to start taking her pants and diaper off during naps and bedtime. Little stinker. It makes a long day when I have to wash her blanket and sheet along with all the other laundry! She also wants to put her own clothes on. I guess she is ready!

Some of the best advice anybody gave me for Sylvia was to put two complete sets of sheets on the bed (so a mattress cover, then a sheet, then another cover, then another sheet). Then when the inevitable messes happened at 4 a.m. I didn't have to re-make the bed--just strip and go!
That's great she's potty training. I'm kind of jealous :) Sylvia doesn't want to wear cloth diapers anymore, but she also doesn't want to use the toilet, so we're not quite there yet.
