Last week we got to spend a ton of time with my sister-in-law Melissa and her kids. Dylan loved spending time with his cousins. He would wake up from his nap and say, "Can I go play with Noah, Lily and Ashlyn?" How fun! He had a blast. Thanks for the great time! I enjoyed spending time with Melissa, too. Here are some cute pictures of the kiddos. Dylan actually went 4 days in a row without a nap. Maybe that's why it took me so long to get these posted!?!?

Cousins
Party time!
And yet another week goes by without blogging! How in the world does that happen? Maybe it's the two kids that do it to me. Maybe it's just me not knowing how to manage my time. Maybe it's a combination of both with everything else thrown in there! Who knows! I used to be so good at this. Maybe I will get better at it soon! (Keep your fingers crossed!)
Last weekend we celebrated Dylan's birthday with family. Friday, we had friends over for cupcakes and then Saturday we had a cookout with family and close friends. It was really nice to have everyone over here to celebrate with us. Dylan had fun playing with his cousins and best friends. Usually for parties I get stressed out easily, but this time was relaxing and fun! Thanks everyone! Dylan got a fishing pole, cars, a race track, some cool clothes, puzzles, and more! We are looking forward to going fishing soon! Maybe it will be nice enough next week to do it!
We ventured over to the mall today. I got some good deals on clothes for Lauren. Dresses and pants for $5 each! Plus I had a coupon for $10 off! Great deal! I got 3 pairs of pants and 2 dresses for $15 total! I love getting good deals! I just checked online to see if I could get anymore dresses, and they are $15 each (On sale!). By the time we finished, Dylan was spent. He started wandering off and not listening to me. Thank goodness for nap time! I went to the mall looking for a good diaper bag, but didn't have any luck. Maybe next time! Anyone want to go???

Happy Birthday Dylan!
I can't believe my little boy is 3! Time sure does fly by!Dylan had a wonderful birthday filled with surprises and friends! What more could a 3 year old ask for? Ricky says he's spoiled, but I think it's just letting him enjoy being a kid. After sleeping in and relaxing, Ricky made pancakes for breakfast. It worked out really well because Ricky had the day off of work, too! Dylan got to play with his new workbench that he got from us. Then, we went to the Children's museum in Indy for the day. Dylan had a blast! There was so much for him to do! We finally left the museum at about 5 and Dylan was exhausted! He fell asleep on the way home and got just enough energy for Chuck 'E Cheese. We invited his friend Cameron to join us and then it worked out that Noah and Lily (his cousins) could come too! Ricky, Me and 5 kids at Chuck 'E Cheese was lots of fun! The kids did great and loved playing all the games! We finally made it home about 9:30 and had to let Dylan open his other presents. He got a computer game that had PBS characters on it, Geotrax trains, and some cars. He loves cars right now. That was all he wanted for his birthday. Yes, he's all boy! He goes to the doctor next week for his check up, so I'll let you know the stats soon! Happy Birthday Dylan!
Lego Land was really fun! He's the king of the castle!
She actually did have fun, she just didn't like the little play area for infants!

Busy times call for good pictures
I am having a great day today, which is good since yesterday was a little stressful. (Can you tell why?)
We have been keeping busy around here. Lauren is sitting up very well by herself and Dylan will be 3 tomorrow. It's crazy how fast time flies by! Dylan doesn't want to take naps anymore, but he's really tired if he doesn't! I guess I use his naps more for my sanity than his! We had a fun day with the camera last week. I got a little carried away and took a ton of pictures! Oh well! I love my digital camera!
Dylan has said some funny things recently. On Saturday, we were driving home in the rain and he said, "Mommy, I don't want to go to the car wash today!" He got scared the other day at the car wash and the rain was really coming down hard. Too funny! Then at dinner, he said, "I am growing bigger and you are growing smaller." I don't know if he knew he was giving me a compliment or not, but I'll take it! Thanks Dylan! I started doing aerobics at church in the mornings last week. She stops for drink breaks, and I had to get a drink. Dylan followed me in the hallway yelling, "Mommy, I don't want you to dance anymore!" I couldn't help but laugh! I know he's said other things, but I can't remember them all right now. I love this age!

We also went outside lots with the nice weather! Dylan played with his sand table for over an hour! He loved it! Lauren and I went outside and sat on a blanket. We are really looking forward to getting nice weather back! Today it is 25 degrees outside and we don't like it. I never knew why people hated winter until this year! I totally got cabin fever from all the sicknesses we had!

Another Lazy Sunday
We're having another lazy Sunday around here. It cold and snowy and everyone is sleeping. How nice! Ricky and Lauren are getting over colds, so they are very tired. I thought about taking pictures of the kids sleeping, but I figured it's not worth it if it wakes them up. At least not today! I was debating on weather to make cookies while everyone was sleeping, but I decided to wait and let Dylan help out. He loves to cook with me. Thanks to everyone who commented on my last post. I love to get feedback, even though I very rarely leave comments on other blogs. Thanks anyway. I went to see Confessions of a Shopaholic with some friends last night. It was nice to get out with friends and no kids! The movie was cute. I'm sure Ricky was glad he didn't go with me!
Ricky got Guitar Hero for Christmas. Dylan was having a great time playing with daddy. Ricky is looking forward to the day that Dylan can play video games with him.
I've been wanting to paint lately. Probably because one of my friend's just finished her bathrooms and they look amazing. It might also be because we just got our tax refund back and we actually have money again! I love this time of year! We just paid off 2 student loans, too! It feels great to be rid of some of our debts! Anyway, if you have any cute color ideas for a craft room or computer room, let me know. I was thinking about light green walls with black accents. I don't know! I've just been in a fix-it mood lately. I'll let you know what I get done! This week, I fixed Dylan's dresser. The bottom of the drawers were coming out, so I had to glue them back together. I have a few crafty ideas I'm hopefully going to get done soon, too! Too many things to get done in a day!
